hi all, just wondering how i go about posting gumpaste flowers? I have sent some gumpaste roses interstate for a friend who was getting married. I used a hard plastic container similar to tupperware and layer paper napkins in between. To fill the empty space at the top of the container I used scrunched up paper napkins. they were only in transit for 3 days and she said they were nearly all broken. has anyone else send gumpaste decorations in the post and how have they survived/ Thanks heaps.

Foam sheets between petals, tissue paper wrapped around leaves, and divided sections for each flower. These things, used along with a sturdy box should allow for safe shipping. Make sure that it's packed tightly enough that nothing shifts or moves. HTH.
