I know this is a dumb question b/c people freeze frosted cakes all the time but I have to ask. Made too much icing and I don't have another order to fill until Feb 26th..two weeks away...can i pop my icing in a container and freeze until then?

Yes, you can freeze buttercream for several months. I have and it tasted just fine and spread perfectly. Just make sure you have it in a proper container so it doesn't pick up freezer odors or get freezer burn or ice in the container. I always have excess BC and freeze it until the next time I need to use it.

Yes, you answered your own question.
(top tier wedding cakes are frozen for a year all the time, and some BC recipes can stay out at room temperature for 4-6 months.)
