I want to make some jungle cake pops to match a cake I am making. I am thinking a mixture of monkeys, elephants, and giraffes to match the invitation. The monkeys seem pretty straight forward, and the giraffe head a little complicated, but doable. Does anyone have any ideas of what to use for the elephant's trunk?

Thanks.

Could you use something like liquorice? Or can you shape tootsie rolls to a trunk like shape? Then coat in chocolate, let dry, and attach with more chocolate to the head. But you'd have to use something not very heavy so it doesn't break off I guess!

I was thinking tootsie roll or maybe some modeling chocolate made of the same color. Like you said, I am worried about it falling or breaking off. I guess I could make it a stubby trunk. LOL

Any other ideas out there?
