I\\'ve been interested in making figures for a while now but haven\\'t had the opportunity to, now I will be making one for my brothers birthday cake and was wondering if anyone knows any good tutorials or vidoes that would show me how to do it. I\\'ve found some videos for the face but nothing for the body. Thanks in advance.

mycakeschool is a GREAT site! Melissa is awesome with her tutorials! There are a few on making people & figures. Is there a certain figure/shape you want?

i want to make a man/guy in a sitting position and i will hopefully try to add some sort of alcohol in his hands

It's $30 for a year, but well worth every penny! She does a tutorial at least once a week and personally responds to every message. She is great!

I know she has a tutorial on people standing and sitting as well.

Aine2 here on CC is (imho) THE go-to person for tutorials on figure making.

Check them out. The "heads and hands" tutorial, and any of the other full-figure subjects are a GREAT start. Buy any 3 tutorials at once, and you get a "baby topper" tutorial for free!
