Will a 14" fondant covered Masonite board be enough to use as a base for a 3 tiered cake (6", 8", 10") or will it buckle under the weight?

Any other suggestions for relatively inexpensive bases? And where to purchase them...

Masonite will certainly hold that weight. I have put that size of cake on foam core or on three stacked cake boards (But be sure to offset them so the corrugated pieces set cross-wise.
