I was talking to a rep. for provocraft cuz she does demos and she said that I need to cut a piece out of my expressions machine for it to work for what I want. What am I cutting off my machine? Please explain in detail cuz I haven't even taken it out of the box and my husband may have a heart attack if I start taking it apart or cutting things off the machine. He bought it for me.

She's probably talking about the grey rubber rings that are on the metal bar that rolls the cutting mat through the machine. You don't have to cut them off, just push them over to the left to get them out of the way. They're on there tight but it can be done.

Thanks for your help! I really didn't want to have to cut anything off. I could just see my husband telling me how much he just spent on the machine for me to cut them off. I really want to play with it, but haven't had much time. Maybe this weekend. I have off of work Saturday and Sunday.
