Anyone help! icon_cry.gif

Everytime I coloured my icing black, I cant make it real black, it always turns gray, no matter how much gel paste colour I put..

Im sure there's a lot of ways to make it black....(I see cakes with real black , darker colours) poorly I dont know why icon_sad.gif

If I am trying to make black buttercream, I always make chocolate first and then add the black. It doesn't take as much if you do it that way.

When I color my black, it always initially looks dark gray, but buttercream darkens as it sets. You might try making it the night before and let the color develop. It always then is black by the time I need it. Let me know if that works for you icon_smile.gif
