Hello everyone.
So a few days ago I made a batch of (Wilton) gingerbread cookie dough and stuck it in the fridge til I could make the cookies. So today I pull out my bowl of dough, roll out said dough, cut out my gingerbread men, arrange them on cookie sheets, chill the cut cookies, and then baked them off 1 tray at a time (about 375 degrees for 6-7 minutes). When I took the trays out of the oven, the cookies were loaded with air bubbles! Suggestions on what happened?
Now this isn't my first cookie baking rodeo. I bake cookies all the time. Following these same procedures. It was, however, my first time doing gingerbread cookies.
