Don't use the phonebook like everyone else said. I have done only ad so far with the Clipper Magazine because they mail it right to your home. The ad was a bit pricey but the book got mailed out this week and starting on Friday I was getting phone calls from people. So for me in my area that worked. Everyone looks at that thing out here so for it was worth it. If your area is big on mailings then you might want to try getting into one of those like I did, but other than that Facebook and Twitter are 2 free sites that can gain you customers. Especially when you post specials and what you have available along with pictures. Every week I tweet what cupcake flavors I will be offering in the shop.
