These really aren't cake-related but you are all multi-talented so I thought maybe you could help.

I'm looking for a good quality 1. rectangular bread stone, and 2. marble pastry board. I don't really know anything about these things but I want to surprise my husband for Christmas.

Just go to the place that sells marble in your community and buy a pretty piece of marble. They will likely have some smallish pieces that were ends cut from countertops, etc that they'll sell cheap. Bread stone should be easy: Pampered Chef, Williams Sonoma, any store that sells kitchenwares.
