My husband owns a jewerly store here in town, and I got a call today that he was robbed at gunpoint! The guy fired at my husband but THANK GOD missed! I have talked to my DH and he is okay but the gunman sprayed him with pepper spray. My DH followed the guy out the door and fired at him and they think the guy was hit. People are crazy. He told my DH to go ahead and shoot him. I am about to go crazy!!! I am ready for him to come home. I knew I could vent to you guys.I am going crazy.

A good friend of my DB had this happen here in Dallas last week. The jeweler here also gave chase with his gun, and is pretty sure he hit the robber, but he got away in a car with two other men who were waiting for him (he got a $5,000 ring) and the police say if he was hit, the two guys probably dumped him somewhere and they will never catch him.

Hope they actually got your robber, you will rest easier if he got caught. Thank goodness your DH is okay.

The cops actually arrested the guy. I hope he gets charged with robbery, attempted murder, and anything else they can charge him with. My DH is so shaken up and he said he told the guy please don't shoot. He says all he could think about was me and the 4 little girls we still have at home. It has been a crazy day, and I am glad it is over.

I am so glad your DH is ok and that they got the guy.

I recently had a scary situtation happen. My DS just turned 16 on Dec 20th and got his license. He is a very good driver. About a week after he got his license I sent him out to drop off a payment for my phone. It was around 10 at night. He dropped it off and had to stop at a big intersection. At that time on a sunday evening there were only a few cars. On his side of the street there were only 2, his and another car in the turn lane. They were stopped at a red light. He glanced over at the car and saw a gun pointing at him. He looked away not to be looking at them and praying they wouldn't shoot him. And when he got the green he took off and sped towards home. We live about 10 or so blocks from where this happened. He walked in white as a ghost. And said I am not exactly sure what just happened. And proceded to tell us about the gun gun. He was shaking . And I imediatly called the police and told them what happened. And the called back and talked to my son. I don't think they got the kids that did it. The street they turned onto was a highway. So they were probably long gone after it happened. And my son didn't get a very good discription. And this is a car kid. He knows his makes and models of any car(since he was 4) but all he could remember was the gun facing him and the kid holding it was white and had a white ball cap. And it was a small dark colored car. So He now knows how important details are. I am still shaking thinking about what he went through.

I know what you are feeling to a point. And I can't imagine how you did it knowing what was going on and couldn't be there with your DH. Good luck with catching them.

PS I am now scared to let my DH drive. But I have to let him. But he is now more careful and knows how to handle the situtation better . We talked alot about this and he know what to do. I am still scared though. I am MOM

The guys hearing is at 2:00 tomorrow. His bail is 250,000. I think that is way too low. My husband told the cop today he wants to know if this guy gets out because we have 5 daughters. I have had the worst headache since yesterday. We went to church this morning and came home and just laid around.I think I have fielded about 150 phone calls since yesterday from family and friends who had drove by the jewelry store and saw the yellow tape. My DH did not get home until about 6:30 last night and the whole family was here which is about 25 of us. Thank you for all the prayers, I think my 10 year old probably will need some counciling.

They need to lock these people up and keep them there where they can't hurt anyone.

I hope the store has video - if it doesn't please get it put in asap.
