Hi there, I am fairly new to cake decorating and I would like to try pouring fondant on cupcakes. Does anyone have any tips on this as well as a simple recipe for poured fondant? I really appreciate it!

Wilton has this recipe on their website. I have used it. I dipped the cupcakes, though. I really liked the look but not the taste. I found it to be very sugary and overly sweet.

Wow, I don't know have a recipe for poured fondant. But I will say that I believe that Wilton recipe is not one of them. That's just melted sugar, kind of like what I put on cinnamon rolls but with less sugar.

I think there is a recipe on CC, if you search for it. Also try searching on Google for poured fondant.

This is the one I use. Heat before pouring/dipping and it will set up nicely.
