I have been "playing cakes" now for three years. I have always stuck with what I felt comfortable with. I am venturing out of my comfort zone. Have to admit, I do not like it!!
Anyway, I have a question.
I made a red velvet cake, and used a cream cheese icing. How long can a cake be at room temp with this icing and still be safe? I now have concerns about serving to family members.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
