Over the weekend I wanted to use brown fondant on a cake I was making. I bought Duffs choc fondant thinking it was just regular fondant but brown and it was more like modeling choc. Can I dye white fondant to get a choc brown color? It was so hard to work with and I was only making a branch I couldn't imagine covering a cake with it. Also I wanted to color royal icing choc brown and I added brown coloring but couldn't get it dark enough. Any ideas? I am still very new at this.

i recently made brown fondant, but i added some coco powder to my mmf and used less powdered sugar. it taste great and gives a nice brown color! have you tried adding a touch of black to your royal icing to help achieve the dark brown color?
