I just put a ganached cake in the fridge, hoping it would get a little condensation on it for the fondant. Well that didn't happen, so I was going to spritz it with water. Which I proceeded to forget, so the now the fondant isn't stuck to the sides very well.

Anything I can do it about it now? Just hope it stays ok?

Thanks
Dave

I have never had trouble with fondant sticking to a ganached cake, nor have I ever wet it or tried to get condensation on it. It should stick just fine without that... If it's not sticking well, I'd think you'd have more luck with heat than cold, as the choc will melt a bit and stick better to the fondant.
