I pulled two 9x13 pans out and they accidentally got stuck together. I can't get them apart! I ended up going up to the next size sheet cake for the baby shower I am making but now I have to cook two separately rather than at the same time. I really need to get them separated.

Anyone got any ideas?

Try putting them in the freezer for a little while and see if that helps.

Once you have them separated try storing them with a tea towel in between them. I think the freezer shold work to get them apart as well.

Sometimes how water will help too. Also you can try rubbing crisco close to the area that is stuck maybe it will loosen it.

The cold should make them contract...heat may make them expand.

I put all my cake pans in plastic super maket bags and label their size on the outside of the bags. It has helped my cake pans from getting stuck to each other. That can be a real pain getting them apart. When I was at Michael's craft store and I purchase two cake pans and clerk put them on top of each other when I got home could not separate them from each other so I use a coin to separate them and it worked, but with effort. You could try soaking the in hot water with liquid dish detergent and see if that helps.
