icingimages, I have refilled and it didn't make a difference, it still happened. I just recently bought new cartridges and the last print still had problems. I may have to deep clean again, many many times like previous people have....?

Thanks Debbie, it's just hard with my hours. I did try the steamer and that helped a lot, however the magenta is not printing at all. It is barely there on the first test strip and then fades completely. There is ink on the print head, so it's coming out some, just not making it to the paper. I guess I'll need a new cartridge, as I didn't replace that one when I did the yellow, blue and black, right/ Is there anything else it could be?
I figured the yellow was getting contaminated, because there was still a bit of residue left on the print head when I changed them out. After steaming it, it seems to be o.k.

Thanks.

Michael, my question is would you recommend purchasing a printer etc if you only do edible images every now and then? I mean I love your cakes but I don't think I would be using a printer every week! If I don't am I doomed with the clogged print heads??? This is what is keeping me from purchasing. BTW, your Snow White Cake is absolutely beautiful!

Kello:
Can you send me a picture of your cartridges as they sit in the printer? Also, since you took the cartridges out, take a look at the bottom of the magenta cartrdige. Make sure that the silicone is still in there. IF you want, sign in to our website and go to the support section. IT has pictures for you there.

Cheriej: You really want to purchase a printer if you can print about once per week with it. If you do not beleive you will, it is not worth it. You just wont make the return on investment with it. If you need ideas on to how to increase your printing, I have plenty. Let me know.

No need to be afraid! I just dont like to see purchase printers before their time!!!! There are plenty of people who print images for those who really do not print regularly. Many people do not do what we recommend and they are fine, but I like to err on the side of caution. When you find that you are having people print for you more and more, than it will be time!
