I got a long serrated knife/cake spatula combo at Target for $8. I don't use it often though, I prefer to use a regular chef's knife.
I wanted a 14" serrated knife, and it was hard to find one that long for a reasonable price. I finally found one on Amazon. It's made by Ateco, and I really like it, but WOW is that thing sharp!!
I am not sure how long it is, but I use the slicer that came with my miracle blade set. I love it.
Back in the 70's, my mom used to have a super long, skinny serrated bread knife and I've looked for one like it every since I started caking. I ended up hunting down a similar one on Ebay for cheap money. Like $18. It's vintage and it's in pristine condition. I am in love with this knife! It's a stainless steel Atlas, made in the U.S., with a full tang. It's a 12" blade and 5" handle.
If you happen to have a restaurant supply store anywhere in your area, you should be able get one there.
