I need a red velvet cupcake recipe that is very moist. The want that I use is too dry although the flavor is good. Any ideas? Pls. help.
I recently used the recipe from Martha Stewart and got a lot of compliments. I was worried because the recipe called for a lot of oil b ut it was good.
I think there's a really good one in the recipie section by cakeman raven. Please let us know which u used and how it came out!
I swear by the Cook's Country Red Velvet Cake recipe, which I just modify for cupcakes. I've never tasted red velvet that was so good! I like it because it's not overly sweet like most red velvet recipes I've had, nor is it too cocoa-y.

I have tried many, and the best on I have found (so far) is in the Cupcake Doctor book, with regular cream cheese frosting.

THE ONE FROM PAULA DEEN ON FOOD NETWORK.COM IS THE BEST RECIPE EVER.. I have tweaked it by adding more food coloring to get a very deep red but it is super yummy and very moist. It is by far my go too recipe
I use the red velvet recipe from artofdessert.blogspot.com - have had rave reviews every time I've used it! SO extremely moist and flavorful!
I always use this one from here and it is my most requested flavor hands down!
