Which Fondant Is Better Homemade Or Store Bought Help Me!!!!

i have a cake due this sunday and im ready to try a new fondant.is homemade fondants or store bought fondant better. i hate wiltons fondant its taste gross,satin ice i feel dries out to quick n cracks so i was wondering should i make mmf or michelle fosters fondant?? please help me

I have only used wilton's and michelle fosters fondant. I prefer michelle's, I only use wilton's in a pinch.

I prefer making my own mmf. I like the way it taste. Thats just me icon_biggrin.gif

I like Satin Ice, but lately I have been making MMF. I really like the taste and it's nice to work with. icon_biggrin.gif

made on your own MMF. I wouldn't want to send anything out with the Wilton stuff.

I think making your own would be more satisfying, if you have the time and have a good recipe. I tried once and it wasn't very pliable at all and it was very grainy. So I gave up. I use Fondx. Tastes nice and it is great to work with.

Although, I'd still like to try MMF one day when I give in and buy myself a microwave.

I prefer making mmf.It taste better and its a money saver.
