Can someone please share a not too sweet frosting recipe to be used on cheesecake?

Do you mean something like a sweetened sour cream topping?

Actually, what I need is a frosting recipe to decorate a cheesecake just like a regular cake.

I realize this post is really old....but I use IMBC on mine.  I think the flavors work pretty well together.
