Hi, I keep seeing recipies for LIGHT corn syrup, however I can only find regular.

Is light corn runnier or just light in color? I have seen white corn syrup is this the same thing?

Thanks

Light and white are the same. in this case, light refers to color (or lack of LOL).

I agree with ibmoser. I only want to add that they're not wanting you to use the dark corn syrup when they tell you light. The light will only add sweetness, and maybe a slight vanilla flavor. The dark has a molasses flavor and will add richness to things like pecan pies or some cookie recipes.
