Hello all,

I've decided to finally invest in a good set of cake pans--either Magic Line or Fat Daddio's--and discard my awful Wilton ones. I wanted to start out with an all-purpose pair of sheet pans. What size of pans do you find most useful? Should I get 2 9X13? 11X15? 12X18? One of each? I'd appreciate any help. One more note--I generally bake rectangular cakes and then cut them or carve as necessary.

Thanks!

I have a 9x13 and a 12x18. I use my 12x18 more than any other pan i have. I use it for cakes, rice krispy treats, brownies. And since you said you also carve cakes I recommend this one. I will make a 12x18 and can make a double layer up to 9x9 (cutting to cakes out of the 12x18 - my 10x10 square pans are the next most used)

I suggest MagicLine, love mine to death.
