Where does everyone get the beautiful brooches that I have been seeing on many of your gorgeous cakes. I have a bride that asked about them and I am not sure where to look. Can someone help me find where I can purchase them.

Sugar ones or real ones? If it's a real metal braoch they can be found at craft stores, online, antique stores, bridal salons. If it's a sugar one - most cake designers make their own molds and use gumpaste.

When I add broaches I start by asking the bride if there might be a piece of jewelry in the family that has sentimental value. The often have one that was a grandmother's and I use it on the cake. It makes for a personal cake as well as a converstion piece that can be talked about at the reception.
