That is hilarious - as the photo was opening I was thinking fine, fine, fine and then it got to the bottom of the pic and I was like "ohhhhh"! Intitally thought, typical man and but once somebody says that its all ya can see!
Thank you so much for the laugh! My husband is always making comments like that when Im modeling something in the flesh color. And even if it doesnt look like it, he will make me "see it".
I think maybe if you just took the curl off the top and bent it. Then instead of having the curls all the way around to be circular you could just cut off some of it so its not so circluar. But I agree with looking up a font!
ohhhh!! too funny!! my husband and i thought the same thing when we looked at it!!! (both gutter bunnies) i'd definelty save it (might come in handy some day for an adult cake??) but i think you can still create a different child friendly scrolled #1. good luck!!
Just so everyone knows. I DID redo the #1 and ended up matching it to the partyware so it went better anyway. So much for trying to be creative...LOL!
If you are interested in the final cake, here it is:

ok ok ok... I really need to step away from the laptop but this has me giggling--Remember Marie's abstract sculpture on "Everybody Loves Raymond" ??? I think we're going to have to start a museum!
And, etr--your grandma wins for the best reaction of the day in my book!!
That was one of the funniest episodes!!!
I just asked my husband what he thought about it and he looked and me like "what are you kidding" and said....it's a penis! Without hestitation. LOL. I'm so glad you asked before using it. Tooo funny!
Great day to read the forum. I've been laughing all afternoon! ![]()
