I have a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. Just found out today that my mom needs surgery that has been scheduled 3 days before the wedding. I would like to have the cake done so I can be with her.

Is that too far in advance to complete the cake? I can keep it in the frig until the day of delivery.

I don't wanna mess up the cake but honestly will likely do a better job if I do it ahead of time. I am pretty stressed about my mom, she is my rock. Thanks!

I always start my Saturday orders on Wednesday. Don't think another day will hurt a bit.

I have done it before with no problems! I was able to wrap it tightly....and the flavors actually came out very well and was moist and tasted Great too.
Lastly, I pray all goes well with your mom!

I personally think cake tastes better after it sits a while.

Best wishes on your mother's surgery

Are you baking and everything on the day before her surgery? Or are you talking about baking like Sunday/Monday, fill and stack on Tues, then decorate on Wed?
