Hi everyone,
I just got a call from a customer who would like a large cake for September Bday Party for a little girl. The cake will be 6in - 9in - 12in Rounds. Flavors: Yel & Red Velvet w/ vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant. Decorations: 6 medium sized charachter figurines made of RKTs covered in fondant. Doing this cake will definitely build my clientel abduntantly!!

How much would you charge for a cake like this?
Any and all suggestions would be grately appreciated. TIA

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm unable to upload pictures to CC. icon_sad.gif

$540

But they're not buying it from me, they're buying it from you. You have to determine your own pricing based on your costs of doing business.

My price for a three tier starts at $100. Each character above maybe the first one is $10. Any further work, like zebra stripes or sugar flowers is also $10-$20 extra. Good luck!

I too would say min. $500.00 but you need to base your prices on your business, skill level, ingredients, labor ect. Your cake sounds lovely. Good luck!!

I think it depends on the area in which you live. No one around our area would pay $500. We are in a very rural area and $500 wedding cakes are rare, much less birthday cakes. But if you are in an area where that is common and your skill level is such that you can compete, go for it!!
