Recently purchased Sharon's Topsy Turvy DVD and was going to try it, but didn't pay enough attention when watching that they are three layered cakes. So, can you do it with two layer cakes? Can you cover with ganache and then frost with buttercream or does it have to be fondant?

TIA! icon_smile.gif

I think the more layers the better the effect. I have done them with buttercream, I don't care for fondant.

I've not heard of ganache then buttercream. Ganache then fondant, buttercream then fondant. Don't know? Sorry!
