Is it ok to place fondant zebra stripes on BC? It's really hot where I live, so I'm afraid they will slide off.
If you are using a crusting BC, they will be fine. One of my first cakes was a BC cake with zebra stripes and they held on!
I have two in my pics, that held up fine with a crusting buttercream. Just roll it somewhat thin.
Yes, it works just fine...just did one...crusting buttercream, put a dab of water on fondant and stick on cake. Very hot and humid here but worked just fine.
