Hi, i need to pipe gold patterns on my cake. I don't want to colour my royal icing gold incase i make a mistake on the ivory cake. I piped ivory coloured royal icing then mixed some gold lustre with confectioners glaze and painted the royal icing when it was dry. It came out brilliant, problem was, it drys super quick in my paint pallete and i have to keep making more. Is there something else i can mix the gold with? Thanks.

clear vanilla, it will still dry up....though it will take 10 minutes or more for a little puddle of it to dry on your pallette.
