Ok I need to make a motorcycle, were you trace it on paper, out line it and then fill it in. Is gum-Tex the same thing as color Flow?

No it is not the same thing.

Color flow is like royal icing. Royal icing can be used to do the same thing.

Gum tex is added to fondant to make it like gumpaste. It would be like tylose, cmc, or gum trag.
