hi all, i am making a christening cake next week and i was going to do 8&10 inch cakes but would this leave me enough room to put the babys name on the top of the bottom tier around the space between the 2 tiers or should i do 8&12 inch cakes?

any help with this would be most appreciated

thanks

it depends on how large you want to write the name. If you want to do 8 and 10 to keep the servings down then you can always off set the 8" to the back of the 10" and you'll end up with more space in front to write the name.
