and now it's rock hard. I made it last night, added food colouring to make it blue an some jelly crystals for flavour, but last night it was perfect consistancy, now it's too solid to knead. How can I save this?

I'm not sure about MMF, but if my fondant is too hard to knead, due to cool weather (I've never put it in the fridge, I keep it in my pantry) I just put it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time until pliable.

ditto on this!! Just throw it in the micro for a couple seconds and it will be pliable again!
