Hi!
I'm making a wedding cake, and the bride has requested a border with shells, then lavender colored pearl/beaded border around the shell border. I'm not quite sure how that is going to work or look... do you have any suggestions for me on how to make it this combo work?

TIA!

Shells as in piping shells, or molded shells? If it's piping shells, maybe you could add the lavender pearls in between each "shell"?

I did that on one of my cakes recently... one of my first actually and there's a picture here in the gallery of it. If I knew how to attach a pic here (ugh I'm such a noob in so many ways lol icon_redface.gif ) but I think you can find my pics in my profile too.

I'd ask for a photo of what she is talking about t make sure you're both on the same page.
