Hi guys its my aunties 50th this weekend and she wants me to make her 'Old Trafford football stadium' for her party. I am pretty good at sculpting ect have done a few now but the thought of this im not sure where to start really, probably because its family and im going to the party too!! I want to re create the shape exactly the same as the photo so would appreciate any ideas, tips, hints on how anyone else would do this!

The stands are kinda like the purse cake, you would have to modify the pattern, tho. The bottom is of course a thick sheet cake, altho if you scale down a bit a regular 13x9 will probably do fine.

Yea I thought that about the base and sides, what do you think about the little canopy things - how are they staying up!?

Looks like cardboard colored white (can see the ribbing...looks like corrigated steel) and lollipop sticks?
