Good morning all! I have 2 Star Wars cakes to do this weekend and the mother just made an interesting request. On on eof the cakes she wants me to incorporate the date of birth and age. The boy is going to be 5 and was born on 5-5-05. I was going to do Darth Vadar on one and the logo on the other, but not sure how to add the DOB and age without it looking strange. Any ideas???

yah, odd requests like that always throw me a little off track. what i would do is put the DOB along the side of the cake. do it in a metalic color like silver to match the star wars theme. maybe if you did them in block letter fondant cut-outs. another idea is if you were thinking of putting a star wars ship on it you could add the DOB as like a model number on the aircraft. just ideas icon_smile.gif
