I need to do a makeup bag, like the one in my photo http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1478748 but with a carrot cake.
Do you have a good recipe that will hold the weight of the fondant ?

Carrot cake is by nature a firm cake and will hold up to fondant. You do plan on refrigerating it, right? Fruits and veg in cakes make them highly perishable.

The only problem I can forsee is lumps in the fondant caused by the add ins. Either shave them off of use a thicker CC, maybe even a ganache CC as BC is soft and the weight of fondant may just squish down and cause surface lumps anyway. Whew! Long sentence, LOL! Ryan has the CC ganache recipe in one of her topics, and there are pages and pages of comments and tips from OPs. I would use a white chocolate with carrot cake, there are cream cheese flavoring oils online that may work to give you the classic CC icing flavor. Maybe a touch of cinnamon would be great also.
