Hi all,

I have to make a deck of cards cake for a friend, but don't know where to sart? I was wondering if anyone has made one or has any suggestion??

Are you making the cake in the actual shape of the deck or are you looking for a way to have the cards on a cake

Myslady,

My friend wants the whole cake as cards. Like a full house, thats 5 cards right?

how's this? might fit your needs.

based on 9x13 and a single layer 6x6 cut up and put together as shown.

draw on the card faces and lines and you've got a 5-card hand.

(full house = 3 of a kind and a pair --- so 3 Aces and 2 kings for the best full house possible)

(just for this one -- I'd take the trimmings and make cake ball recipe but then roll out in a sheet about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Then I'd use a 2" or 3" round cutter to cut out circles. I'd decorate these to look like poker chips)
