Freezing Cream Cheese Icing

I have a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing but not enough refridgeration space. I do have a freezer that it would fit into. Has anyone ever frozen a cake with cream cheese icing? Will it be wet as it thaws out?

You can freeze cream cheese icing on or off a cake. It will be fine.
