I have been asked by my sister in law to make my brother's cake for his 50th birthday. There will be approx 75-100 people. My brother's 2 loves in life (other than his wife, of course) are Toronto Maple Leafs hockey and GOLF....if he could play golf 365 days a year, he would play 366...and I don't think he has ever missed a Leaf game, so....I need some cake ideas...
The party is June 5th/2010, so I do have some time, just need some help in the creative part.

Maybe you could incorporate the Leafs emblem onto a golf ball on a golf cake, since the Leafs are already out on the course? LOL
By the way.... my husband has the same two passions!

You could do a 3D golf bag done in the Leafs colours and logo, with the golf clubs, balls, tees etc.
