Any help with this would be great! icon_smile.gif

I have tried in the past to cover a ball (RKT) in fondant and it didn't really work out all that well, and I found it very difficult to do without the fondant bunching somewhere (mostly the bottom since I could at least hide that).

In the next week or so I'm making a baseball cake (Wilton ball pan) and would like to cover it in fondant but am afraid it'll just turn into a disaster, only on a larger scale than the RKT ball.

The only thing I can think of doing it having a larger flat "base" on the ball, but then I'm thinking it'd take away from it having more of round look.
