Since it seems to be today's thing, I think maybe it's time I showed off my baby. Any constructive criticism welcome, and if anyone finds a typo I'll eat a box of Betty Crocker mix. Dry.

Natalie, I loved your website. The colors make me happy. lol
Just one correction: on your icing/frosting page it should say special ingredients not "specialist".
And maybe it would be nice if it was possible to make your pics bigger.
Good luck and I think your cakes rock!
Great web design... love the colors!
This is real minor.. but on the flavour page, maybe change the order of the items in the 2nd sentence so that they are the same as how they are placed on the page '......our most popular flavours of cakes, cookies, icings and fillings.' So maybe put 'icings and fillings' before 'cookies' because that's how you have them listed with the headings.
I agree with maybe making the pictures in the galleries bigger, if possible.
Great job!
Tiffany, I loved your website also.
Only suggestions:
On the taste page: you describe your chocolate cake as "thick" and to me at least that doesn't sound appetizing. It sounds like something that's going to sit on my stomach all night long. Maybe using Rich would be better? You also used "thick" on your pricing page.
On your flavors page: candybar has no special color, like the other flavors.
on your size/serving page: it should be 4 inches not 4 inchs.
on your opening page it should be April/May are booked or April and May are....
Loved your cakes and your website. good luck!
Tiffany, you do great work, but im not surprised you are fully booked through May. $1.50 a serving and an average of $2 perserving for 3D cakes. Maybe its time to up the prices and work less for more money.
To the OP, love the green and pink, but i also agree that the white background behind the pricing was very bright for me, could you do it in a lighter faded green.
Great website girls!!!
Thanks for the lovely comments. I will revisit my site based on these pointers.
I think its cute! On the pricing page, can you get rid of the white backround?
Hmm, there's a white background on all the pages. Does this one show up differently to the others?
I love your site! The colours are great - they really pop! I must be getting old though, because your fonts are a little too small for my eyes. Also, you say that your servings are industry standard, which I take to mean Wilton, but your servings are actually much bigger than that. I think you're under-charging (e.g. 8" round - Wilton = 24 servings, you = 15 servings. So at $1.50 per serving, you're $16.50 down on the deal).
To the OP, love the green and pink, but i also agree that the white background behind the pricing was very bright for me, could you do it in a lighter faded green.
I CAN'T SEE IT!! To me it looks exactly like the other white backgrounds. Argh! I'm going to have to go on another computer to figure this out. Thanks very much for the feedback - very helpful.
Natalie, I went back to see and I don't see it either. LOL that makes 2 bling women. lol
BTW: I did notice that on your prices page you have a photo from MSW. Why can't you post a picture of your own slice of cake?
In your "Icings & Fillings" section, "Fresh Mango" is in default color (black) instead of the other color (#562329) for the rest of the text. Looks like a html typo; the class should be Normal-C2 not C5:
<P class="Normal-P0"><span class="Normal-C1"> </span><span class="Normal-C2">Bailey's Truffle</span></P>
<P class="Normal-P0"><span class="Normal-C1"> </span><span class="Normal-C5">Fresh Mango</span></P>
op: awesome website! love the colors also your FAQ page especially how you handle the copyright issue. on you flavor page "Fresh Mango" appears to be a different color and maybe a different font/size than the other icings and fillings listed but other than that a really great site.
tiffani: very nice website and yes honey you need to up your prices!! love love love all the quotes. not crazy about the black background for reading but don't mind it for the pics. maybe just me but i find it a little hard on the eyes. awesome website tho!

Cause the picture I took SUCKED! I did plan on getting a better pic and posting it on site 2.0. Maybe I should push for sooner.
I think its a really nice website. Your cakes, fillings, and frostings, all sound wonderful!! I also really liked the gallery section.
All in all, I thought it was very user friendly!! You did a really good job!!!

i just *had* to post. i love your website...the colors, the quality of the pictures, the actual cakes/cookies. ALL very nice! i give it 5 stars~
Natalie - I love the clean, fresh colors. Your cake flavours sound delicious and it's quite a long list! I'd like to see more photos of the decorated cookies and, like the others have said, bigger photos of your cakes.
Question: Are your icings and fillings the same? eg. do you make fresh mango icing and also a fresh mango filling? I found it a little confusing to determine which would be a filling and which one an icing.
You're a talented lady! Best of luck with your business.
Tubbs...
On your cake galleries, I would much rather see pages full of thumbnails that I can click on to enlarge than one picture at a time for each type of picture with the little arrows to change pictures.
It's the same frustration I have with the Most Saved Photos of the day here on CC, just made worse, because instead of working 6 at a time, it's only 1 at a time.
Otherwise, very nice overall, and I don't notice anything else that hasn't already been mentioned.
Great site Tubbs. Love the colors and the easy-to-read font. The cakes look lovely, too!
I did find one thing that I'm not sure about. On your "Prices" page, should the price for 3-D carved cakes say "ask for quote" instead of "ask for a quotation?" A quotation is someone's words. A quote can mean "stating a market price."
I love your website. My only critique would be under icings and fillings.
You have this listed:
Please note that some flavours have premium pricing due to specialist ingredients
It should just read "special ingredients."
As a customer, it might be nice to know up front which ones have a premium price. Maybe you could put an * next to the ones that cost more.
can i get in on this action too? not all my pics are in the gallery yet, but there is a decent amount.

kcassano- Love the colors on your site. I might add a cake photo to the home page...to just open up and see only text does not inspire me to keep looking at your other pages. Just a thought...
I love your colors! I like everything, it's easiest to comment on things that I wasn't crazy about, then all the good things.........because most everything was really good!
Detraction's:
I had a hard time viewing your photographs today and I had to give up. When I clicked on them they got distorted and didn't go to the next photo. I also want to see bigger photographs!
I'm not sure you need to state your in a certified studio kitchen. As a professional, I would assume you are.
Best of luck to you

I disagree, there are a lot of unliscensed bakers out there, this is a nice way for the customer to know upfront that she is legal.

*definitely* leave the "certified" studio kitchen comment. many cake websites are run by home-based business that are not legal...
