How long and at what temperature would you bake a 14 in x 2 in WASC. I've always stayed away from anything bigger than 10 inches because I don't want to over bake it. Fat Daddio pans ( I don't know if that matters)
TIA

I always bake at 325. For 14", I would say at least 90 minutes. It takes a good hour for my 8x2.

Cut up some old towels into 2" strips, wet them & wrap them around your cake. That will help keep the edges from drying out. Make sure the towels are wet but not quite dripping.

Good luck!

Oh..I forgot to ask about a nail. Should I just put one nail in the middle?

Fat Daddio pans need a lower temp. Nothing over 300.
