im going to be doing a cake thats covered in zebra stripes, now i was just wondering if i could get some opinions about what you all think about how to apply the stripes? should i just lay the black stripes on the white fondant so it is more 3D or should i lay it on the fondant then use a rolling pin and roll the black fondant into the white so that its more smooth??? TIA!!

I'd do black cut-outs and lay them on.

I prefer the rolled way. I find it looks more realistic and professional.
Also, i think it looks cleaner, especially when you're laying figures on it. it can look too busy.
Just my opinion.

Hope that helpsicon_smile.gif
