i make it from fondant or gumpaste but after its molded when i leave it out the freezer for to long it starts melting and getting sticky. does anybody know how to stop this? icon_cry.gif

First, definitely make it from gumpaste. After you put it in the mold, put it in the freezer for about 25 minutes. Carefully take it out and let it air dry for a few days then color. HTH!

I always color my paste & after the baby is out of the mold & properly dry, I use dust to highlight any features.

Use petal dust & mix it with a little vodka then paint it or dry dust it with petal dust. Did you make the baby out of white paste?

I make mine out of fondant and never have any problems with it. I use a timny amount of copper to color it a flesh color before molding.
