Father and son are both being baptized together on Easter. And the cake only needs to feed about 15 people which makes it even harder. This one's got me completely stumped, and I've looked at every single baptism cake in the gallery. Anybody have an idea?

How about a Cross Cake (or on cake) and say "New Life in Christ?"

Yep, I think that baptism and Easter together call out for a cross cake.

I just got a baptism cake request that represents death, burial, and, resurrection I am as lost as you are. Any ideas on that?

WOW mustang1964, I can only picture Jesus on the cross himself! That would be really hard though!!
Maybe an open bible with some verses that talk about death, burial and resurrection??

for father & son.

3 figures: from front to back:

the son
the father with hands on son's shoulders
Christ with hands on father's shoulders

or

son on dad's shoulders as both are baptized.

or

Christ handing each a white robe

or

instead of cross cake -- two cakes in shape of white robes....big one and smaller one

----

death/burial/resurrection

grave with tombstone reading "old me"

figure being helped into white robe by Christ -- the new me

WOW ! "Father, son, and a cross to represent the Holy Ghost"

I did a sheet cake with praying hands made out of chocolate candy melts.... you could put their names or edible image on either side of the praying hands....or the cross.............. Mine was one of a series of cakes for an 80th birthday.......
