I've been asked to make a high heel shoe cake. Have any of you ever done one? I don't know where to start!

When you say "high heel shoe cake" do you mean a cake shaped like a high heel, or a cake with a gumpaste high heel on it? There are a ton of gumpaste shoe cakes on here (just look in the gallery)...as well as tutorials on how to make the shoe and templates in the gallery. HTH.
