We have some dear friends who just found out they are pregnant with their first baby. They have been trying for the past 5 years and I want to make a cake for them...I just can't decided what I want to do. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you ever made a topsy-turvy cake? I think something like that could symbolize their ups and downs in their life while trying (minds OUT of the gutters, pls, icon_wink.gif ) and that they're still standing tall.

But I'm a bit outside the box in the way I think sometimes. icon_smile.gif

I love putting sonograms on cakes. The first time I did it it grossed me out...so did eating pictures of my own kids. But now I am way past that and I love seeing the joy on parents faces. Technology really changes things!

White bc or fondant cake.
Mint green fondant footprints around sides; maybe with some mini hearts.
With the saying "Your Home Is About to Increase by 2 Feet (4 Feet etc.. depending on how many babies they're having)
Mini footprints and/or mini hearts on wires sticking out the cake. HTH
