Hi Cindy,
I have used this recipe on cakes that large, I have found that because it is a dense cake, it seems to need extra time to cook.
Eeryone's oven is a little bitt different, but I would set your alarm for 60 minutes, check the cake, by using a toothpick in the middle, if it comes out clean, then its done. If not, add an additional 15 minutes, and check it again.
