Best Filling For Wasc Cake?

I am making a birthday cake for my daughter this month. I will be using WASC for the first time. My question is what is the best filling for this type of cake? I am not having a big party, just my husband, children and grandparents. So something basic and easy for a first timer would be great. Thank you so much for your input.

strawberry or raspberry buttercream, or chocolate ganache, or smbc

Jams or preserves are also nice. You can make a dam by outlining the top of your first layer with stiff buttercream, then fill the middle with your filling...this way, the filling doesn't leak out.

I would not use a filling. I would put strawberries on top.

Advantage: In case somebody does not like it, they can scratch it off and it is very easy to do.

My *original* WASC recipe goes soooo well with any and all fillings icon_smile.gif
What cake flavor are you using?
What is YOUR (family's) favorite flavor?
Just a few ideas I have used:
apricot
strawberry
raspberry
chocolate
lime curd
dry butterpecan pudding mixed into b'cream
lemon pudding

I really like using Indydebi's BC, as it's not as sweet as most BC's and really balances the WASC (since it is quite sweet). It is easy to make and everyone I make it for just LOVES it!
